Amanda attended Art in the Garden for many years beginning in 4th grade. Now entering her sophmore year in high school she is my able assistant, It has been a pleasure to watch her artistic growth in a variety of mediums.

I chose to highlight her paintings and drawings because of her deep commitment to the art making process and her dedication to assisting the younger students. Amanda's extraordinary use of color and composition express the essence of her subject matter as you will see in the examples of her fine work pictured here.
